Electric car production issues one of the reasons for the delay

Tesla truck debut pushed back again
The unveiling of Tesla Semi has been delayed until November.

Elon Musk, CEO of electric automaker Tesla, has once again delayed the debut of the electric Semi the brand has been working on.

The truck was initially expected to break cover in September this year but the date was later pushed back to October 26.

However, in a tweet last week, Musk announced the new date of launch - Novermber 16.

He says the company had to focus its attention to two other issues: addressing the issues in the production of its Model 3 electric car range and sending battery packs and power solar panels to support those affected by the hurricane in Puerto Rico.

In tweet on October 7, Musk said:

"Tesla Semi unveil now Nov 16. Diverting resources to fix Model 3 bottlenecks & increase battery production for Puerto Rico & other affected areas."

Last week, an alleged image of Tesla's much-awaited Semi was leaked online.
