Second man charged amid murder case of bikie-linked Salisbury business owner

A man has been charged with impeding the investigation into the alleged murder of South Australian trucking business owner David Norris, who had links to the Hells Angels bikie gang.

Police found the body of Mr Norris, 39, at Northern City Tipper Hire at Salisbury on Sunday, and later said he was "extremely violently killed".

A 39-year-old from Yorke Peninsula was yesterday charged with murder.

Then late today police said Major Crime detectives had also arrested and charged a 65-year-old man from Salisbury North with impeding the investigation.

Police said the arrest served as a warning to anyone who "obstructs or attempts to dissuade another person in cooperating with authorities regarding homicide investigations".

Mr Norris lived in Northfield and was the owner of the business where his body was found.

Police said they were unsure if he was still a member of the Hells Angels when he was killed.

The 65-year-old man will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court in early November.

Police are appealing for anyone who was near Fisher Street at Salisbury between 5:00pm and 6:30pm on Sunday to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
